Roundtable Breakfast—The Value of Design for Business and Industry
Date: Thursday 16th February 2012, 8am
Venue: Advanced Technology Centre at the Hawthorn Campus of the Swinburne University of Technology
Speaker: Professor Goran Roos
B-HERT is working with the Faculty of Design at Swinburne University to strengthen the link between design and the untapped value it offers to Australian business and industry. In February, the Faculty will host an expert conference with international speakers titled Strategic Design: Value Creation for Business and Industry.
In order to make the most of their time in Australia, B-HERT—along with Swinburne University of Technology and the Design Research Alliance—is organising a breakfast for leaders in business and industry to hear how design contributes to successful business outcomes.
Goran Roos is Professor of Strategic Design at Swinburne University of Technology. He has also been Thinker in Residence for the government of South Australia and he is Chairman of VTT International. VTT is Finland's Technical Research Centre, an organisation with global operations that brings many issues together around a design framework.
His perspective and experience in demonstrating how value-focused design in the context of business and industry is all about innovation and the future.
This is an outstanding opportunity to hear from a world renowned expert. If you would like to attend please contact Linda Toshner on 03 9953 3426 or at email bhert@bhert.com.
